Color Me Mine

Today two people from Color Me Mine came to our class. They came with tile to help us paint our portraits. We made our faces with them.

First, we drew our faces on the tile with a pencil. Then we painted the tile with special paint. Then we dried them with a hair dryer. Then we drew the rest of our face and painted our eyes on the tile. Finally, we put the tiles on the counter to dry.

We did this project because it will be part of our auction item for the Dinner/Dance. We had a lot of fun.

Pizza Party!

Yesterday the 3rd grade class had a pizza party. It was a lot of fun. We had the pizza party because our class brought in the most Box Tops. While we were eating, we watched the movie Pocahontas. The food was delicious. We had grapes, pizza, brownies, gummies, and juice all provided for us by Mrs. Morales.

Mrs. Morales is the person who collects the Box Tops each month. We collect Box Tops because it raises money for our school.

Thank you Mrs. Morales! We enjoyed our lunch!
